Carrezola talks about his latest offer

Neshaminy High School TE Paul Carrezola was among the 50 prospects in attendance at the Rutgers scrimmage on Saturday. Carrezola already holds four offers and will likely add more in the coming months as recruiting continues to heat up.

Neshaminy High School TE Paul Carrezola (6’3 255) is being rewarded for his hard work and athletic talents. The Eastern Pa, product had scholarship offers from Syracuse, NC State, Pittsburgh and Buffalo. This week he added two more offers with Rutgers and Iowa throwing their name in to the mix.

Paul Carrezola states that coaches have been impressed with his all around game. “I have always been a good athlete. I have played football and basketball for a while and done well at both sports. I run good routes and catch the ball well. I have also worked hard in the weight room and have started to get bigger quicker than I expected”.

He claims no favorite at this time. “I like all the schools that have offered and I like them all equally. The coaching staffs have been great and it has been a good experience overall thus far. At Pitt, I am being recruited by TE’s coach Brian Angelichio. At Rutgers, it was Coach Frazier, but now they switched to Kirk Ciarrocca.

He has visited several schools in the early going. “I have been to NC State, Pitt, Rutgers a few times. NC State had some great facilities. They also practiced at a very fast pace. I went to a Rutgers practice this weekend and I was impressed with their overall talent. The defense, especially was very aggressive. I will be making a trip to Iowa in the near future as well as going to Pitt again next week. I also plan on taking trips up to Syracuse and Buffalo for a practice“.

Carrezola intends to take his time with the process. He may make that decision in the summer or wait beyond the fall. “I am no where near ready to commit to any school. When the time is right I'll sit down with my parents and pick the right school".
