Video Interview: Khairi Fortt

Khairi Fortt may be a name that Rutgers fans aren't aware of just yet. Fortt, who will only be entering his junior season at Stamford High [Stamford, CT] is quickly becoming a household name - why? He's 6-foot-3, goes about 215-pounds, and runs the 40-yard dash in 4.6 seconds.

Khairi Fortt [Stamford HS, Stamford - CT] is a name many on the east coast will soon become very familiar with. Fortt is an impressive specimen, physically, and given his outstanding frame and athletic ability, it's a given that Fortt will become a national recruit once colleges can officially tender offers this upcoming fall. Fortt was on the Rutgers University campus earlier this week, in attendance for one day at the RU Football camp.

"The competition was really hard. Coach Susan wanted me to go against the wide receivers, as a defensive back ... I think I did pretty good. I was locking down some of the wide receivers. I just tried my best to defend," stated Fortt, referring to his camping experience at Rutgers.
