Rutgers Football Camp - Monday Photo Gallery

The 2008 version of the Rutgers Football Camp has come and gone. was on hand and brings you the initial photo album from the first full day of camp: Monday.

Caesar Rodriguez [6'2"/215-pounds], by way of Christopher Columbus HS [Miami, FL].

Antwan Lowery [6'3"/325-pounds], by way of Christopher Columbus HS [Miami, FL].

Logan Ryan [5'11"/175-pounds], by way of Eastern HS [Voorhees, NJ] is one of the Garden State's top two CBs - Ryan is committed to Rutgers.

Phil Walker [6'1"/210-pounds], by way of Cypress Bay HS [FL] is an outstanding athlete that stood out among the LBs in attendance this past Monday.  The one-day camper made the trip to New Jersey in hopes of attaining a Rutgers offer.  Walker holds several offers already and told SOR that a RU offer would likely mean he'll be playing his college ball in New Jersey.

Rob Lombardo [6'1"/220-pounds], by way of Somers SHS [NY], is a bruising FB from the Empire State that plays bigger than his actual size. Lombardo was impressive in the one-on-ones on Monday, using his bulk to shed opposing DBs.

Shaquan Armour [left] [5'11"/180-pounds], by way of Stamford HS [CT], and Khairi Fortt [right], also of Stamford HS [CT].

Armour will be entering his Senior season at Stamford HS this upcoming fall.  Armour reports a personal best of 4.44-seconds in the 40-yard dash, has a 275-pound bench press, and a 35" vertical.

Abdul Smith [6-feet/185-pounds], by way of Perkiomen School (Pennsburg, PA).  Smith took an unofficial visit to Rutgers on Friday, had the opportunity to see the Rutgers Football facilities, meet wth the academic and football staff and sit down with Head Football Coach Greg Schiano.

Jamal Wilson [6'6"/300-pounds] a massive offensive lineman by way of South Shore HS [Brooklyn, NY] poses for SOR on the Scarlet Walk.

The affable Wilson looked very impressive during running drills a little later that morning. Wilson has already committed to Rutgers.
