Rutgers Football Camp - Tuesday Photos

The 2008 version of the Rutgers Football Camp has come and gone. was on hand and brings you the second photo album from the day's second full day of camp: Tuesday.

Michael Larrow assumes a position that will become very familiar to Scarlet Knight fans.

Micke Cole [left] setting up his defender ...

and then blowing past, while being held.

Larrow's focus is undeniable as he goes into a one-on-one match-up with Piscataway HS lineman Jeramie Powell.

Curt Dujon: 5'9"/172-pound WR by way of Blanche Ely HS [Pompano Beach, FL]. A physical athlete that plays with intensity and bigger than his size.

Jamal Clay: 5'10"/175-pound, by way of Mahwah HS [Mahwah, NJ] stood out as one of the top CB prospects in attendance.  Clay, has the look, build, and play of a high-level Division-I prospect.  He demonstrated explosiveness, and impressive ball skills, repeatedly going against some of the top WRs present.

Nick Williams: 5'9"/180-pounds, by way of The Hun School [Princeton, NJ] is a terrific looking athlete. What Williams lacks in size, he more than makes up in his game. Williams, who holds offers from Army and Townson, has the ability to get physical at the LOS, go step for step with the opposing WR, and shows impressive acceleration .

Devin Street was in all likelihood the top WR in attendance. A Tiquan Underwood clone, Street lacks Underwood's fastest gear, but is similar in build and play in nearly all other facets. Street has committed to Pitt this past weekend.

Darius Ferguson: 6'3"/190-pounds WR [Boyd Anderson, FL]

Marlon Gillis: 6'3"/205-pounds WR [Dillard HS, FL]

Dwellie Striggles: 5'11"/165-pounds WR [Dillard HS, FL]

Devin Street is turned around by an errant throw. He adjusts beautifully and still makes the catch.

Carlton Koonce: 5'7" 165-pounds, by way of Rancocas Valley Reg. HS [Mount Holley, NJ], most certainly looked and played the part of a D-I athlete on Tuesday afternoon.

Koonce is all focus on the incoming ball.

Jamal Clay eyeing the QB before the snap.

Nick Williams [right] isn't afraid to get up close and personal with the opposition. Williams, along with Clay and Jayron Hosley [Atlantic HS, FL] were the top CBs in attendance on Tuesday.

JT Tartacoff: 5'11"/170-pounds, by way of Montgomery HS [Skillman, NJ], isn't so much a CB prospect as much as he is an Athlete. Tartacoff ran a 4.50 40-yard dash earlier in the day, and has repeatedly run in the 4.35 to 4.5 range during this spring and summer.

Devin Street breaks into one of his routes.

Perhaps the match-up of the day was Jamal Clay [blue shorts/foreground] versus Devin Street [gray shorts/background]. Despite the size disadvantage, Clay continued to show an ability to consistently make plays, this time reaching for the highest point and batting down the pass.

Koonce is an impressive looking athlete who shows an impressive burst off the LOS.
