Ira Guilford broke loose for five touchdowns while amassing 314 yards on 38 carries last night when Hoboken, No. 17 in The Star-Ledger Top 20, raced to a 40-14 victory over Rutherford before 900 in the semifinal round of the NJSIAA/Coca Cola North Jersey, Section 1, Group 2 tournament last night at John F. Kennedy Stadium, Hoboken.

Montclair benefited from 187 yards rushing and a touchdown on 30 carries from Alvin Bowen and a blocked extra point with 4:22 remaining to hold on for a 10-9 victory over Elizabeth.

As he has the last two years, Issac Redman fueled the Paulsboro offense, rushing for 150 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries and scoring on a 73-yard punt return to give him 30 touchdowns on the season. He also scored 30 TDs last year.
