What was the visit like?
"It was good, a lot of fun. We went up to New York City. We went to ESPN Sportszone. I had been there before but it was still a great time, it was so much fun."
Who did you hang with?
"I roomed with Ken Gillespie and I hung out with Nate Robinson and Amir Pinnex, as well as Brandon Nolen."
Is your verbal still solid?
"The same day that I went to NY, I was talking to Coach Schiano on the train and he makes me feel comfortable. I feel I can talk to him and I can talk to the other coaches. It is so important to feel that you can talk to the coaches at a school. I feel very strong about my commitment."
Did anyone else verbal or seem likely to verbal?
"I know that Pat Lee's family was very interested. I think that the big lineman from Florida (Tranell Morant) was very interested. Nate Robinson spoke highly of Rutgers while he was there. I got the impression that Brandon Nolen's family wanted him to stay close to home but I think he'll take all his visits. He is sort a quiet type of guy so I didn't ask him any more questions about it. I talked to Mike Fladell, he is huge. We were sitting down one time at an academic orientation and he couldn't fit into the chair. It would be like me trying to fit into a first grader's chair. He really loved being there. He seems to like Rutgers more every time he's on campus"
