"The visit definitely surpassed my expectations. I had visited other schools before, but everything about Rutgers made me know it was the right place for me. Midway through my visit I knew I wanted to commit. I thought I wanted a little time to tell everybody before it hit the press, but that spread rather quickly".
He shared what stood out about the Knights. "I just loved everything about the school. I loved the way the players and the incoming players interacted. I thought the coaches were great and treated me like family. I also think that the school offers me a great opportunity from a football standpoint. The academics were strong as well".
Eventhough De'Antwan is a strong commitment to Rutgers, the Scarlet Knights coaching staff is maintaining on top of him. "Coach Emanuel came by the school today. Coach Schiano and a few of the other coaches should be coming around in a few weeks".
In the mean time De'Antwan continues to work out hard in the weight room. "I continue to get stronger. I am up to 203 lbs now".
