Fonti Gets RU Offer

Chris Fonti is a winner. He has never lost a H.S. football game and doesn't plan on losing one any time soon. The tough, physical, 6'7 300 lb. O-line anchor extends the tradition of great players produced by Wayne Hills H.S (NJ). His prowess on the football field has been rewarded by him receiving his first offer at the hands of Rutgers University.

"Rutgers offered me a couple weeks ago. They are a good school. I like them. I have been down to practices and like what Schiano is doing down there", said Fonti. The offer is well deserved. Fonti highlights a strong 2010 class of Offensive lineman from the state of New Jersey.

When looking to recruit a winner, it doesn't get any better than Chris Fonti. "We were 12-0 this past season and have won 52 strait games. I have a championship ring that highlights my most recent state championship and our 52 strait wins as a program", Said Fonti. Chris is definitely one of the most decorated offensive linemen in the county with 3 state championships, as well as an All- Passaic County and All-NBIL bid as well.

Fonti is currently being recruited by Rutgers, Pitt, Miami, UCONN, Oregon, Boston College, North Carolina and North Carolina St. His list of favorites includes Rutgers, Pitt, Miami and UCONN. There is currently no frontrunner amongst the bunch. Location, academics, and coaching are 3 important factors in him selecting a school.

Chris is currently training at Sports University as well as playing organized basketball to stay in shape. He currently leads his team in blocks and rebounds. His goals for the upcoming year are to make 1st Team All- State and win his fourth state championship.
