Prepared to exceed Expectations

Audubon H.S. (NJ) is becoming synonymous for producing top level pro- style QB talent. At 6'5 220 lbs., junior Brandon Hill is next in line to make a name for himself. Following in the footsteps of alumni NFL QB Joe Flacco, Hill has similar measurables as well as talent and is prepared to light it up and exceed expectations.

Brandon has undeniable pocket presence and the uncanny ability to effortlessly throw the ball out of the stadium… figuratively speaking of course. The talented QB has of the strongest arms of anyone I have seen on film within this year's class. Accuracy is one of his strengths as well. In 2008, Brandon completed 190 out of 240 passes for an astounding completion percentage of 80%.

He is also a student of the game. " My favorite throws are the deep comeback and deep post. This offseason I am working on reading defenses better and learning where my zones and spots are", said Brandon. With brains to accompany that cannon of his, any school in the country would be lucky to land this young man.

Brandon is currently being recruited by Rutgers, Connecticut, Boston College, Duke, Maryland, Temple and Virginia. He currently holds an offer from Rutgers and they are his frontrunner. " I like Rutgers a lot. They have a good campus. I like the coaches and the surroundings", said Hill. His 3 final collegiate deciding factors will be education, coaching style and offensive identity. Brandon feels he is definitely more suited for a pro-style offense which makes Rutgers a great option.

On being compared to Mike Teel he stated, "It is an honor. Mike Teel was a great quarterback for 4 years. I hope I can be as good as him".

The 1st Team All- Colonial Conference selection is poised for a strong senior season. "I am excited for the opportunity to take my team to the playoffs and hopefully the state championship", said Brandon. Brandon claims that he will work hard during the offseason to ensure that his team is prepared to succeed.

We will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with Brandon this upcoming Sunday at Rutgers Stadium for 7-on-7's. We will keep you posted on his recruitment.
