Kittredge Has a Motor

Although spending most of his Jr. Season on the offensive line, James Kittredge has become one of the biggest defensive line surprises in the region. On top of being 6'4 250 lbs., he has terrific technique, versatility and a great motor. These three things separate him from most defensive line recruits coming out of High School.

The coaching staff at Don Bosco Prep can be credited for the technique and versatility but a motor is something that James Kittredge was just born with.

James Kittredge has the ability to play both inside and out on the defensive front. Some schools on the next level are even giving him a look at center. Kittredge stated, "I can play on either side of the line. I am very physical and have great hands. I hustle and keep perusing the play until the whistle blows".

His unique skill set has earned him 5 early offers as of right now. They have come from Rutgers, Maryland, North Carolina State, Pittsburgh and the University of Central Florida. James currently has no frontrunner and claims they are all great schools.

James happens to like Rutgers claiming, "They (Rutgers) have everything that a great school should have. They are close to home and have really good coaches".

Kittredge plans to take unofficial visits to Miami, Florida St., UCF, Notre Dame, UCLA and USC, all of which are currently showing him some interest. Strong academics, good athletics and comfortability are important to him in making his decision.

James runs a 5.1 40 yard dash and has a 325 lb. bench press. He plans to eat right, lift consistently as well as correctly, and do whatever it takes to make himself as well as his team better this upcoming football season. SOR will stay on top of the situation.
