Paterson Catholic has yet another Playmaker

Jr. Dwayne Bailey of Paterson Catholic is a true cog in the middle of that powerful defensive front which boasts 3 players who could possibly play on the next level. Standing at 6'2 265 lbs. and encompassing a 315 lb. bench press, Bailey has the interior strength required to hold down the fort.

Now, he is ready to turn it up a notch and show the many different collegiate programs across the country that he has what it takes to become a standout.

In 2008, the 2nd Team All- Passaic pick accounted for 25 tackles and 2 sacks while spending a good amount of time on the offensive side of the ball as well. Dwayne Bailey stated, "I am quick off the ball and aggressive as well. I like to run people over and break through the line to make plays".

Bailey currently has no offers and is receiving very little attention but he is optimistic about the upcoming season and the opportunity to show improve. "I can't wait to get back out there and show that I can dominate", he stated.

As for the schools he is interested in, he finds Rutgers, Virginia, Maryland and Syracuse the most attractive. This upcoming season, Dwayne plans to make a big enough statement for the interest level to become mutual. Only time will tell, but this terrific young recruit definitely seems to have the motivation level to get the job done.

Bailey plans to show out at the Sports Weave competition on April 18th and carry that momentum over to a terrific senior season campaign. His goals also include producing an undefeated season, a state championship and for his defense to go un-scored upon. We will see how the upcoming season shapes up.
