Chishon Rose Can Get After it

Jr. Chishon Rose is a 6'3 ½ 275 lb. defensive tackle from McNamara H.S. in Maryland. He as well as WR Brandon Coleman are set to lead Mustangs in a championship effort for 2009. Chishon's elevated talent level on the football field has produced heavy interest from Maryland and Duke whom both seem close to offering.

"Maryland is waiting to offer based on how well I perform at their camp and Duke is awaiting my SAT results in order to do the same. I have also received interest from Rutgers, Pittsburgh and NC St.", said Chrishon Rose.

He also went onto mention, "I want to try to visit Rutgers soon. From what Brandon told me, he likes it a lot and since we are similar people, I believe I will like it too. Everything that I heard has been good. I plan to attend the spring game with Brandon and camp there this summer."

In 2008, Crishon contributed 35 total tackles and a handful of sacks en route to a 5-5 record on the gridiron where they lost in the first round of the playoffs.

He described his playing style as, "aggressive… I like to bull rush and make it tough on the quarterback. Although I go hard, I stay under control and maintain my assignments. When I look around, I see a lot of kids who are either big or fast. The thing that makes me unique is that I am both big and fast." Chishon claims a 4.7 forty, a 300lb. bench press and 500 lb. squat.
