Bennett Jackson gets Rutgers Offer

Bennett Jackson attended practice today at Rutgers University and walked out with an offer from the Scarlet Knights. His tremendous quickness as well as vision in the open field makes Bennett one of the most electric athletes within the Northeast region. His prowess on the football field has obviously begun to be noticed and the offers appear to be rolling in.

This offer is his 6th within a one month period and 7th overall. Bennett contacted SOR with the scoop.

"I liked it (Rutgers) a lot. I was surprised. So far they are probably the best team I have seen in person. Practice was upbeat and they played hard. It was intense. They had some giants out there but the thing that stood out the most is the large number of skill position players. After practice, we walked around campus which was big and I loved the facilities mainly the dining hall", said Bennett Jackson.

He went on to mention, "I had a great meeting with Coach Schiano in which he talked about life beyond football as well as how he has the vision to really build the program. He is a good guy and definitely made a huge impact on me. He ended up telling me that he feels I would be able to help fulfill his vision and he offered me."

Bennett seems to truly have been impressed by his visit. He proceeded with, "I would say Rutgers is definitely amongst my favorites along with Pittsburgh and Notre Dame. Rutgers definitely stands out though. I had a lot of fun today."

This talented young man still has places that he would like to see, but as of right now, Rutgers seem to be in a pretty good position. SOR will keep you posted.
