Rutgers stumbles, falls to LaSalle

After stumbling over and over again to inferior opponents, the Knights finally fell.

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (AP) Gary Neal scored 10 of his 33 points in overtime to lead LaSalle to an 83-75 win over Rutgers on Saturday night. 
LaSalle (6-4) won its third straight and snapped a three-game winning streak for Rutgers (8-4).  The game went into overtime after Mike Sherrod's 3-point shot bounced out of the basket at the buzzer with the game tied at 65. LaSalle won the game on a 6-0 run, getting two foul shots from Mike Cleaves, a slam by David Bell and two foul shots by Steven Smith.
