Ira Guilford (RB/DB, 5'10"-190lbs) from Hoboken High School in Hoboken , New Jersey is one of the best two-way players in the state of New Jersey. He ran for over 2,000 yards and 29 touchdowns. On defense, he was equally as impressive. For his efforts, he was named Associated Press First-Team All-State.

What does he think of his favorites?

Penn State (visited)
- really enjoyed himself
- likes the program and the tradition
- feels that he can come in a contend for a starting position

Ohio State
- they are currently his leader but he stated that winning the National Championship has not placed more pressure on him to commit.
- Likes the program and has been one of his favorite schools since childhood.

Syracuse
- feels that they are a good program
- Since Keon Walker (a Hoboken H.S alumni) plays on the squad, he is very familiar with the program
- Despite the losing season, he feels that they will turn things around.

Notre Dame
- has a great tradition and is a legendary program
- really likes Coach Willingham.
- He wants to see the campus and get a good feel for the school.

Rutgers
- really likes Coach Schiano
- feels that things will change and it is only a matter of time
- feels that if he came, he will be a big part of the change.

Which position does he want to play?

He stated that it did not matter to him and whatever position that will get him on the field the fastest would be the position he will play.

When will he make a decision?

He plans on taking all of his visits and making a decision on the Signing Day.
