Catching up with Vitabile

Brandon Vitabile is on his way to becoming one of the best center prospects in the region. Being that good centers are extremely hard to find, it definitely wouldn't be a bad idea to keep one in- state. The Bishop Ahr (NJ) standout's recruitment is really beginning to heat up. SOR caught up with him and addressed the increase of attention that he has received.

"Last week I visited both Vanderbilt as well as Syracuse Universities and walk away with 2 consecutive offers to really set off my recruitment. Also, I have three schools which seem close to offering in UCF, Pittsburgh and Purdue. All 3 of those schools are sending representatives to see me next week", said Brandon Vitabile.

As for Rutgers, he stated, "I still think they are a good program. They invited me to attend their Big Man camp later this summer. Honestly, they haven't been showing me as much attention as of late, although I did get an invitation to take in the spring game".

In regards to his workouts, Brandon mentioned, "I'm still working hard, training 6 days a week for 2 ½ to 3 hours a day. I have also increased my speed in working with my speed coach twice a week.

Vitabile goals for the upcoming season are to go undefeated, which he came only 2 games short of last season as well as win the division and a state championship. SOR will keep you posted.
