PISCATAWAY -- Scarlet Knights ace pitcher Bobby Brownlie decided yesterday to skip his senior season at Rutgers to instead pursue a professional baseball career.
The right-handed pitcher was the 21st player selected in the first round of the 2002 Major League Baseball amateur draft last June by the Chicago Cubs. He will now focus on reaching a deal with the Cubs organization -- with infamous Soctt Boras as his agent.
