Saturday Blair romped over St Pats by 22 as Luol Deng hit for 24. On Sunday at the Scholastic Play by Play Life Center used a last second shot by Gassaud Dahi to beat Blair. Deng topped all scorers with 29 but the boys from Burlington put another notch on their blazing guns. St Benedicts had another productive week including a return home to Atlantic City for Stanley Branch. As Benedicts romped over Fredrick Douglass of NYC Stan Branch broke out for 24 before a packed house including his parents and siblings. Meanwhile, the Shagari Alleyne watch goes on as Rutgers assistants continue to monitor the big guys progress. This week Rice with the help of big Shag beat arch rivals Bishop Molloy and Bishop Loughlin as the Rice team starts to work its way back near the top of the CHSAA.
