It's A Family Affair

Late last night after THE GAME, St. Benedicts of Newark played R. J. Reynolds of North Carolina; yes, a school named after a tobacco company. The Soverign Center was quiet as most of the throng had departed maybe 250 spectators were left for the game. What they saw was the second Hurley coached team of the tournament beat the visitors 67-47. Reynolds lost to father and son, it must be some kind of a record. Benedicts broke it open in the third quarter and then went into cruise control. Art Bowers led all scorers but their were major contributions from from Alex Galindo, Stan Branch, R.J. Smith and Bashir Mason. All three underclassmen are being followed by Rutgers.
