All She Wrote for Rice
Archbishop Molly guard Marlon Smith who scored 28 hit the winner with 9.2 seconds left on a 7 foot runner over 7'2" Shagari Alleyne. Rice guard Russell Robinson tried to feed Shag down low for the dunk but the pass was deflected and that was all she wrote for Rice. Shagari Alleyne had another good game scoring 25 and protecting the lane. Russell Robinson scored a quiet 18 for Rice. Coach Hicks said that had his guard play been stronger this year, this team could have gone a long way.
