Poteat Names Eight

Jameel Poteat, the 14th-rated running back in Scout.com's 2011 class, has cut his list to a top eight schools, and the Bishop McDevitt (Harrisburg, Pa.) product filled ScarletReport.com in on those selections. Four-star Bishop McDevitt (Harrisburg, Pa.) running back Jameel Poteat has narrowed his list to eight schools, and Rutgers is on it.

"Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Cincinnati, Notre Dame, Iowa, Connecticut, Florida and USC," Poteat wrote to ScarletReport.com. "Everybody is about even."

The 5-foot-11, 200-pound Poteat ran for 1,400 yards and added 400 receiving yards as a junior, and added 20 touchdowns.

He is rated as the 14th running back in the 2011 class by Scout.com.
