The Scarlet Knights open the season Nov. 12 at Princeton at Jadwin Gym. Rice will make his home debut three days later when Fairfield visits the Rutgers Athletic Center.
"We are really excited with the challenges and opportunities that our non-conference schedule provides," Rice said. "We are chomping at the bit to get our guys on the floor and get started."
The first look fans will get at the Scarlet Knights will come Nov. 1 when they host Montreal-based McGill University at 7:30 p.m.
Rutgers also plays home games against Miami (Nov. 21), Nortfolk State (Nov. 23), NJIT (Dec. 1), Marist (Dec. 7), Fairleigh Dickinson (Dec. 14) and St. Peter's (Dec. 23).
Rutgers travels to play plays at St. Joseph's (Nov. 26) at The Palestra and will visit Monmouth (Dec. 18).
There are neutral court games against Auburn (Dec. 11) in Pittsburgh as part of the SEC/Big East challenge and a Dec. 28 game against North Carolina in Madison Square Garden.
