Langston Galloway, a 6'2 junior guard from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was nominated Hawk captain for the 2012-2013 season.
Saint Joseph's has only one senior on their roster, in senior point guard Tay Jones. Galloway is one of five juniors on Hawk Hill, and was voted team captain by his teammates on Thursday.
As a sophomore, Langston averaged a shade under 16 points per game for the Hawks. A tremendous shooter from deep, Galloway connected on right around 47 percent of his shots from three.
While Saint Joseph's does not host a traditional Midnight Madness, they will have Hawk Hysteria tonight to commemorate the beginning of the season. Saint Joseph's tips off the 2012-2013 season on November 12th at Hagan Arena, against Ivy League member Yale.
