Decatur McArthur point guard Marcus Bartley visited Saint Louis officially this weekend and came away with an offer.
"It was great," he said. "I was able to get an in-depth look at what they had to offer."
Bartley played pick-up with the current team, took in a class, and generally spent time getting to know the team and coaching staff.
"I'm close with all the guys on the coaching staff," he said. "They're all cool."
He also got a chance to hang out with the team and get to know them.
"Austin [McBroom] was the one showing me around so I guess I feel closest to him," Bartley said. "I was just impressed with the amount of knowledge [the players] had.
"Also, they have a great facility and I was just overall impressed," he said.
Creighton, where his parents attended school, is also showing serious interest, but Bartley isn't ready to call it a two-horse race.
"That's not how I'm thinking about it," he said. "I'm just going to sit down with those close to me and talk about either making a decision on committing or holding off."
