Lisch Named A-10 Player Of Week

ST. LOUIS – The Atlantic 10 Conference has named Saint Louis junior guard Theresa Lisch (Belleville, Ill./Althoff) its women's basketball co-Player of the Week for the period of Nov. 17-23. Lisch averaged 26.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists in the Billikens' two games last week.

Lisch scored a game-high 32 points, just three shy of the school record she shares, in a 98-86 loss at Morehead State Nov. 19.

She tied her career high with 10 field goals, including three 3-pointers, and was 9-of-10 from the free-throw line. Lisch added a game- and career-high eight assists and eight rebounds.

In a 75-56 loss to Kansas Nov. 23, Lisch netted a team-high 21 points with the help of a 7-of-8 effort from the foul line. She added a team-high three assists, one rebound and one steal.

Lisch leads the A-10 in scoring (25.5 ppg) and 3-point field goals made (12) and is tied for seventh in assists (team-high 3.75 apg). She also chips in 5.8 rebounds per contest and boasts a team-high 83-percent mark (24-of-29) from the free-throw stripe.

The Billikens host Creighton at Chaifetz Arena Nov. 25. Game time is 7 p.m.
