THE FACTS: 18/15 San Diego State (10-1) blew out San Francisco (5-5) 80–58 due to Chase Tapley's career high 33 points. The Aztecs hit 55.2% of their shots including 10-of-19 from three-point range. Jamaal Franklin finished with 11 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists.

QUOTABLE: "We made shots, and when I say we, you start first, second and third with Tapley. You're surprised now when he does miss. He's been on such a run shooting the ball."

NOT: San Diego State's three-point defense. The Dons connected on 8-of-18 from downtown including mostly wide open looks.

FRESHMAN WATCH: Freshman Winston Shepard had 5 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and a single block in the win.

"I thought he played his best basketball," Fisher said. "He delivered the ball to the right guy on time, on target to the right person. I know he felt good about himself afterwards."

NOTABLE: The Aztecs have won 30 straight games against teams from California.
