Daniel Hamilton (2014) Update

Daniel Hamilton (St. John Bosco, 2014) updates his offer list and his new top 3.

Daniel Hamilton is no secret to anybody. Having one brother in the NBA and another as a McDonalds All American, everybody already knows about the youngest brother's potential. Last weekend Hamilton showcased his skills at the Real Deal at the Rock tournament in Little Rock, Arkansas by dropping 26 points on the Atlanta Celtics, one of Georgia's premier AAU programs. "My pull up jumper was really falling, and I was getting to the rim at will" said Hamilton.

Hamilton lists Connecticut, UNLV, USC, UTEP, Marquette, and Arizona State as schools that have offered him, with Kansas showing strong interest. When asked if he has any schools standing out or favored, Hamilton described, "My main three right now is UCONN, USC, and UTEP, but I'm still keeping my recruitment open." He also added he is considering taking a visit to UCONN on May 1st, but nothing is for sure as of yet.

The 2014 6'7 guard/forward hopes to play more in backcourt in college, "I want to play the 2 (shooting guard), but on the fast break I want to be able to bring the ball up and make decisions like a point guard." Certainly the youngest Hamilton will have a wide choice of schools to eventually choose from, but insisted that a relationship with the head coach will play a very large roll, "I want a good relationship with the head coach, not only the assistants but the head coach most importantly, since the head coach is the one that calls the shots".

Concerning San Diego State, Hamilton mentioned he has not heard from the Aztecs for a while, but is aware of the recent Bland-Hutson coaching change. As for now Hamilton will continue playing for Belmont Shore and continue to tear up the summer circuit.
