"Coach Hutson called me when he was at UNLV, then he got ahold of me in April, me and my dad have both talked to Coach Fisher and I'm going on a visit there this weekend," Taylor said.

Taylor has noticed the increased exposure that San Diego State has gotten the past few seasons. "I watched them when Kawhi Leonard was there. Coach fisher doesn't restrict the players at all. I love their program," Taylor said. "They've told me about the great living environment. My style of play fits them, they could see me playing and contributing."

When Taylor hasn't been playing with KC RUN GMC on the Under Armour AAU circuit, he's been in the gym working on his game. "I've been working on getting my jump shot more consistent. Pull up jump shots, set shots, being more consistent."

"My understanding of the game is good, and being able to score. I feel like I'm a threat at everything. I can get my teammates involved when I'm not scoring," Taylor told me. "I need to work on being a better defender off the ball. I can kepp my man in front of me, it's a matter of when my guy is off the ball."

"I looking for a school where I can be able to live where I go to school after I'm done. I want to the head coach to care about me, I want it to be a family, I want to have a good relationship with everyone."

"I'm gonna let it play out. I don't have a timeline, when I figure out where I want to go then I'll commit."
