San Jose State Falls 38-28 to La Tech

Five turnovers and a pitiful running game, combined with a porous defense contributed to the 38-28 San Jose State loss to Louisiana Tech on Saturday.

Colby, who finished with 237 yards on 17-of-27 passing, connected with Quinton Patton on a 90-yard bomb that gave Louisiana Tech (4-4, 3-1 Western Athletic Conference) a 17-14 lead midway through the second quarter. Cameron then connected with Patton again, this time from 2 yards out, to give the Bulldogs a 24-14 lead with 18 seconds to play in the second quarter.
