In the Dec. 9 Hoek Blog Inside Sparta presented a new name on the recruiting radar along with the possibility the player had been offered and committed to San Jose State.
It turns out that Addison Gillam, a 6-foot-3, 220-pound linebacker from Foothill High School in Palo Cedro, Calif., near Redding, has indeed made his pledge to SJSU.
"I just committed to San Jose State," Gillam posted on his Facebook page. "Looks like I'll be playing (FBS) football in a year."
Gillam becomes the seventh football commitment for the Spartans in this 2012 recruiting season.
