Former SJSU commit Mekhi Stevenson picks UNLV

Former San Jose State commit Mekhi Stevenson makes his final decision.

Last April, La Mesa (Calif.) Helix wide receiver Mekhi Stevenson first committed to San Jose State in April, but on Fridya, he made his final decision to UNLV. Stevenson also considered offers from Utah State and Colorado State. Communications with SJSU decreased after his primary recruiter, Joe Staab, was not retained.

Stevenson made his commitment with this video:

“I’m looking for a school that has a good film program because that’s what I want to get into when I go to college,” Stevenson told InsideTheSpartans earlier this month. “Also the feel for the coaches and the team. I know coaching changes happen often, so at least I’d know my teammates will be there for me.”
