San Jose State beats Morgan State by a score of 47 to 28. The attendance issue still looms, however, over the SJSU administration.

SAN JOSE, Calif.--- Tyson Thompson rushed for 158 yards and two touchdowns in San Jose State's 47-28 victory over Morgan State on Saturday.

Dale Rogers threw a touchdown pass and rushed for another score for the Spartans (1-1), who scored 26 straight points in 12 minutes spanning halftime to break open a close game.

James Jones caught four passes for 102 yards, scoring on Rogers' 67-yard pass just 57 seconds after halftime.

Adam Tafralis also threw a 39-yard TD pass to Casey Miranda for San Jose State, which opened its season two weeks ago with a 43-3 loss to Stanford.

Quarterback Bradshaw Littlejohn rushed for 96 yards and two touchdowns for the Division I-AA Bears (1-2), who rushed for 261 yards but completed just five passes.

Jason Jackson rushed for 125 yards and a score for the visiting D2 bears.
