BREAKING NEWS! Bill Walsh joins AD search group!

Just when the message boards were starting to get lit up with anti president Kassing posts, an exciting turn has happened in regards to SJS football. Former Spartan, Bill Walsh, has agreed to be the chairman of the AD search for SJSU!

SpartanThunder.com has learned that an AD search committee was established this week:

Bill Walsh will head the comittee as "Chairman"!

We do not remember all the members, but here are the ones we do remember:

Cindy Kenyen, Pete Silva, The President of the AS (we cannot rememberher her name), Bill fisher and 2 others whose names escape us, but they are part of the SJSU Administration.

Bill Walsh Led "The Team of the '80s" to three Super Bowl titles (XVI, XIX, XXIII) in 10 years.

Walsh compiled a .617 winning percentage with a 102-63-1 mark that included 10 wins in 14 postseason games in the NFL.

Notorious for his reputation of being an outstanding offensive coach, Walsh developed what is now known as the "West Coast Offense."

Named NFL Coach of the Year in 1981 and '84.

Attended San Jose State, and played in Spartan Stadium as one of the best known Spartans along with another well known "gilroy-ian" and member of the Cleveland brown, Jeff Garcia.
