The Spartans finished nine strokes ahead of New Mexico State with a total of 922 (+58).
Spartan Jenelle Gomez earned the individual title with a three round total of 227 (+11).
Gomez beat teammate Carmina Calle and Idaho's Renee Skidmore by one stroke.
Also announced today were the all-WAC teams and Player, Freshman and Coach of the Year awards as voted upon by the seven coaches in the league.
New Mexico State and Idaho were new additions to the conference this season, and each played a roll in the WAC team and individual titles. The Aggies were second in the conference this season in team scoring (76.01), trailing only San Jose State.
The Spartans were tested in the WAC championships, but their momentum with two wins in their last four starts and the home course edge gave them the title.
Idaho's Renee Skidmore, put together the best season of any female in the conference with her 73.96 stroke average, one win and five top-five finishes.
