Right after this weekends game at New Mexico State, please mark your calendars for the next SJS Quarterback club meeting of the year. It's time to also think about beating Boise State and taking the spotlight off the undefeated Broncos!

Host: Spartan QBC Meeting and Cocktail Hour/Dinner

Location: Crowne Plaza Hotel

282 Alamaden Blvd, San Jose, CA

When: Tuesday, November 7, 6:00pm

Please join us for the Third Quarterback Club cocktail hour and dinner of the season.

The evening's program has yet to be finalized but we hope you will join us for dinner.

We promise you good food, good company and for those few lucky winners, great raffle gifts.

Please stayed tuned for updates regarding the evening's program.

Social Hour begins at 6:00 pm, with Dinner at 6:45 pm.

You can park in the Crowne Plaza parking garage (enter from Alamaden Blvd). Your ticket can be validated for FREE parking.

Dinner cost is $25.00 per person. Last but not least, please bring a raffle gift for the evening. Everyone who donates a gift will be entered into a grand prize drawing held at the end of the season.

Not a member yet? Thats okay! We'll be happy to process your membership at the dinner.

UPDATE!

We have three speakers for our November 7th Quarterback Club dinner:

Sheldon Canley -- #20 -- Among the greatest running backs for the Spartans. He was the Top All Purpose Spartan Season Rushing Leader in 1989 & 1990. One of the stars of the 1990 California Raisin Bowl -- where he tied a national bowl game record of FIVE touchdowns.

Also speaking will be former SJSU player Chris Pappas, now the Executive Director of the California Community Colleges Football Coaches Association, overseeing 72 campuses programs. He coached at Willow Glen High School and Monterey Peninsula College.

Also on the agenda is our own George Nessman, Head Men's Basketball coach for the Spartans to preview our team and the new season which just started with a win over San Francisco State.
