Lack of Defense Hurts Spartans in Loss to UNR.

Matt Milton ran for 224 yards and two touchdowns to lead Nevada over San Jose State 52-24 Saturday.

Milton had scoring runs of 31 and 71 yards in the second half as the Wolf Pack (3-4, 2-1 Western Athletic Conference) came back from a 17-14 halftime deficit.

Zack Threadgill was 20-of-29 passing for 233 yards and three touchdowns for Nevada. Nate Burleson, the nation's leading receiver, had eight catches for 111 yards and a touchdown.

Maurice Mann had two touchdown catches, including a 13-yarder with 10:35 left in the third quarter that put the Wolf Pack ahead for good.

Lance Martin rushed for 97 yards and Lamar Ferguson 92 for San Jose State. Tuati Wooden had six catches for 88 yards and a touchdown.

Boise State looms next for SJSU at a rare home game for SJSU, which is also homecoing Oct 26th at 2PM.

Boise State stomped Fresno State in it's last game 66 to 21.
