The WAC office in Colorado has stated that not much will be known for at least a few days, so keep your fingers crossed all of you SJSU die hards.
SJSU is the only team to not have seven wins out of these bowl eligable teams.
Boise State is against Ohio State for the final at-large slot in the BCS conundrum.
The Spartans at 6-6 are one of many teams up for consideration because of the lack of bowl eligable teams available for the post season.
SJSU coach, Dick Tomey, stated on a video on the Universities official site that he expects to know something this week, and that bowl preparation would start next Monday.
Tomey did state that the emphasis is on finals and grades, but the Spartans are not happy ending the season at .500.
The Humanitarian Bowl wants the Broncos to stay home, but if Boise State were to go to the Poinsettia Bowl, it would face TCU likely.
Boise would like to play Ball State on a neutral field, but I just do not see that working out.
Many fans would like to see SJSU play CAL in the Emerald bowl, and that just might very well happen as it would draw a bigger regional crowd.
At this point, SJSU should make the post season, or it could be left out in the cold.
Our inside sources state that SJSU will play in the Emerald bowl.
We shall soon find out.
