SJS Men Take on Pacific: Women Face Southern Utah

Both SJS Men's and Women's hoops pre game updates! UOP is coming off a 75-59 victory over USF last saturday in Stockton. The tigers have lost their three road games by an average of 22.7 points. SJS Women face Southern Utah.

Men's and Women's Pre Game Updates!

The 3-4 San Jose State men take on the 2-4 Tigers of the University of the Pacific 7PM tonight at the events center.

The Spartans have lost three of their past four games but are 2-0 at home.

They have not played since a 92-67 loss at CSU Northridge last saturday.

In that game, Oudie Baker recoreded his second consecutive double double with 23 points and 10 rebounds. Baker is out on the injured list with leg problems.

The Spartan women have snapped a two game losing streak with an 85-66 victory over loyola chicago last thursday.

All the Spartan win's have come at home, where they have shot 48.2 percent from the field compared with 34.2 percent on the road.

Guard Cricket Williams (17.6 points per game) and Guard Jessica Kellogg (13.1 PPG) and Forward Tatiana Taylor (11 PPG) are SJSU's top scorers.

The Thunderbirds have won 3 in a row. Guard Casey Cooke leads the team with 12.5 points per game, and 3 players average at least 7.5 rebounds.
