San Jose State falls to Saint Mary's 8-4

Eight San Jose State pitchers weren't enough to contain the Saint Mary's attack as the Spartans drop their second game in a row by a score of 8-4.

The San Jose State baseball team traveled to the East Bay to face the Saint Mary's Gaels at Louis Guisto Field in Moraga, Calif. The Spartans offense struggled to score for eight innings as SJSU dropped their second game is as many days by a score of 8-4.

SJSU starting pitcher Ryan Shopshire found himself in a hole early as Saint Mary's loaded the bases in the first inning with only one out. The senior right-hander hunkered down and struck out sophomore Justin Fazio, then got junior Ryan Mulligan to fly out to left field.
