Spartans Defeat Aggies 13-10 In Home Finale

Sophomore Tyler Cope's 34 yard field goal with 34 seconds remaining was the difference in San Jose State edging the New Mexico State Aggies by a score of 13-10 in the home season finale for the Spartans. The victory ended a six game losing streak for San Jose State, and was the first victory over a Football Bowl Subdivision foe this season, and improve their record to 2-9.

San Jose, Calif. - A 19-yard field goal by Tyler Cope with 34 seconds remaining, set up in large part by a 57-yard pass play between Jordan La Secla and a third junior, Jalal Beauchman, gave the San Jose State University football team a 13-10 triumph over Western Athletic Conference foe New Mexico State University in its 2009 home finale inside Spartan Stadium on Saturday, November 28.
