Top 2007 SHU Local Prospects

Here is a list of four top local prospects that Seton Hall will chase for the next two years.

Top 2007 Local Prospect

Corey Stokes St Benedict Prep 6-5 185 lbs- This is a five star stud that can go anywhere he wants. He is an excellent player who can score with the best of them and is a super athlete. Can knock them down from deep and is smooth. He just keeps getting better ever game out. Reminds me of Ray Allen/JR Smith. No weakness in his game. Can handle and pass like a true PG. Plays for the TT Playaz AAU team with a host of studs and might be the best player on that team. In my opinion is a top 10 player in the land.

Corey Fisher St Patrick HS 6-0 170- Four Star point guard who can be a big scorer but is a point first. He is a very confident player who will remind you of Allen Iverson. Corey is a classic floor general with great speed and vision. Superior ball-handling skills and quick crossover moves dominate his repertoire. Thought to be a heavy St Johns lean but has not pulled the trigger yet.

Mike Coburn Mt Vernon HS NY 6-0 170- Another four-star guard who has point guard size and some SG to his game. Took steps toward looking like elite PG prior to sophomore year. He has a strong body, decent shooter and a playmaker. He lets the game come to him and he has that feel for the game. He has a pure and simple game that makes it seem like he has total control over the game. Flat out he is a talented offensive player who can really score and looks like elite level talent.

Hamidu Rahman Franklin HS 6-10 240?- Rahman is a typical big man project that is rapidly improving. Wide-bodied big man who has a chance to be a player. Scoring tools are improving. Now being reported at somewhere around 270 lbs. A strength and conditioning program could do wonders for Rahman, who seems to be carrying around some baby fat on his ample frame. Powerful rebounder who could fit very nicely in at SHU if given a chance to develop. Is said to have a major interest in Seton Hall. Does play in a weaker NJ conference though. Played at the ABCD camp against talent level that he had never seen before and was not totally outmatched. Plays AAU for the NJ All Stars.
