New Jag in the Jungle

After weeks of deliberation and heavy competition from Missouri State and Stony Brook, Trey Anderson has decided to pull the trigger and join the South Alabama Jaguars.

"South Alabama has recruited me all year," said Anderson when explaining his decision. The JUCO star with the 4.0 GPA will graduate in May and then move to Mobile to enroll in summer school.

"I believe in that team," he said. "I think we'll be good and I believe we'll do something special there."

With Anderson leading the way, along with fellow junior college transfers Freddie Jones-Goldstein and Xavier Roberson, freshmen signees Mychal Ammons and Jordon Roach, and returning players Augustine Rubit, Antoine Lundy, Javier Carter and others, special days may indeed be on the way.
