"I really wanted to see South Carolina to really make sure and I had a great time there," Couch told Scott Eklund of JCFootball.com earlier tonight. "After I thought about it though, Tennessee was just the right place for me and I felt like I could get a good education and play some big-time football there."
The talented prospect also confirmed the news to GamecockAnthem.com's Jason Ross then.

Phone calls to Couch to try and get more on his reasoning were not returned.
"I'm down (to) S. Carolina (and) Tenn," Couch went on to say in a text message to Ross. "Ima wait till I go visit Tenn (to) make my decision."
