South Carolina head coach Steve Spurrer just wrapped up his press conference for the SECCG. There was no video allowed, but look for the audio to be up later on this afternoon. We will also have some stories up later along with a few notes and some photos of the Auburn and South Carolina practice on this afternoon as well so stay tuned throughout the afternoon.

Here's some quick notes from Spurrier's press conference:

Garcia is fine and is very close to 100%. He has played excellent this season and they very seldom get mad at him anymore. He said with a laugh that Garcia seems to play better when he's not available to the media during the week. "How's that for honesty?" he said.

Auburn has been involved in a lot of close games and has obviously won them all. They have a knack for making the play with the game on the line. They have won a lot of second halves this season.

His experience in Championship games has no impact in this game because this is new to all the players. He also said it was new to beat Bama, UF on the road, and Clemson twice in a row so he's hoping for another new one tomorrow.

Very impressed with Cam Newton. He can run like a scat back, throw, and power run. He beat Bama with his arm. He and his team have not paid much attention to the Newton saga because they have no control over what happens. He's glad Newton is playing because he wants both teams to be 100%.
