Eleanor Roosevelt (MD) defensive end Derrick Harvey has two offers, and national schools are starting to pick up his recruitment.
"Maryland offered a while back, and Virginia just decided to offer. I think Boston College and Connecticut are about to," says the 6-foot-5, 225 pounder. "Georgia, South Carolina, and Texas just started to really recruit me, so it is really fun now."
As to a leader, unlike before when he had Maryland solidly in front, the new schools have changed that thought.
"I don't know yet, I really like them all pretty equally."
For the schools, it is the upside which catches their attention.
"This year was my first year ever playing. I did pretty well with 12 sacks and 80 tackles. Next year I am going to be way better."
