Three Offers In The House For This Safety

For a long time it was just Clemson. But now two more have offered, including South Carolina, and this safety prospect says things are now all even. Especially since SC offers something he wants ...

The offer list for Lamar (SC) safety Mike Hamlin has grown to three schools, but Hamlin still wants to wait until signing day to make his decision.

"For a long time it was just Clemson, but now Vanderbilt and South Carolina have also offered," says the 6-foot-2, 184 pounder.

Hamlin says the three schools are all even, this early in the process. However, he has made up his mind on his major.

"I am looking for someone with my major in sports and fitness management. So far South Carolina is the only school that I know has it. Vanderbilt says they do, but I do not know for sure since I have not researched them yet."

Does that put Clemson, which does not offer his field of study, off the list completely?

"No, it does not put them out. They are still tied with the other two."

Hamlin finished his junior season with 96 tackles and ten interceptions on defense along with 35 catches for 750 yards and seven touchdowns on offense.
