Royal has a list of seven teams that he is interested in: "Marshall, Virginia, Virginia Tech, South Carolina, Syracuse, and Tennessee."

Royal is currently open to all the teams recruiting him and He spoke about the criteria that his college choice will have to meet.

"I want to major in Physical Education. I want to be a Teacher that would be cool. Academics play a big factor in my decision. The coaches play a big part, too. I want to play for a team that's focused on winning. I've got to win and I'm looking for players and coaches that think like that," he said.

Royal spoke to TheInsiders.com about a new team that has really caught his attention.

"I am really interested in South Carolina. I like their coach and it's not too far away. If they were to offer I would take a even harder look," said Royal.

Royal plans to attend the Virginia football camp on next Monday and then head up to the Virginia Tech camp later that week.
