Cornerback Narrows It To Two

One of the top junior college cornerbacks in the country ... and he has South Carolina ties. Now other schools are involved. What is he thinking ...

Jonathan Joseph of Coffeyville Community College (KA) is a rising star in the Junior College ranks. He red-shirted as a freshman but has the potential to be an All-American. As a high school senior at Northwestern (SC) he earned All-State, All-Region, and was named to the 2001 Shrine Bowl team. Joseph racked up 127 tackles, six, interceptions, and 10 pass break ups.

Joseph is entertaining strong interest from: South Carolina, Auburn, Arkansas, Florida, Florida State, Clemson, Iowa, Iowa State, Nebraska, and Texas A&M. He has offers from South Carolina, Auburn, Arkansas, and Florida. South Carolina and Florida State are his current leaders. So what does he like about his favorites?

South Carolina: "It's a great school. They have a big need for corner. I think I could start immediately. (Coach Roberts) He's a real cool person. I'm supposed to go down there, maybe this week."

Florida State: "It's a good school overall. I have a friend (Chris Hope) that played down there. I don't know what their situation is at corner."

When will Joseph make his decision?
