Cullen Harper of Sequoyah (GA) just returned from the EA Sports Elite 11 camp. He spoke to TheInsiders.com about how the camp went.
"It went real well, I'm in the top ten from the camp right now, and from that they'll choose 6 more for the Elite 11."
Harper's good news didn't stop there before he left for the camp he was waiting on an offer from South Carolina. Before Harper left for the Elite 11 camp he emailed his recruiter coach Lounsberry to ask if he was going to receive an offer. So did he get the offer he was waiting on and what did he think?
"Yeah, they did I got a email yesterday from coach Loundsberry saying it was on the way in the mail. I was real excited to see that."
Harper now has offers from South Carolina, Clemson, Middle Tennessee State, and Duke. He named his top four. (Order as mentioned.)
"Right now my top four are Georgia, Auburn, South Carolina, and Clemson.
They are all great schools in both academics and football."
Is there a leader among his top four at this time?
"I'd have to think about all night tonight. The more I think about it, the harder it is," Harper said.
Harper will announce his decision before his senior season. It looks like it will be a last minute decision. He will attend the Georgia camp (July 12th) and the Auburn camp (July 19th).
TheInsiders.com will keep you updated on any late breaking news concerning Cullen Harper's status throughout the summer.
