One way to enhance your recruitment is to be apart of a big-time AAU program.
An even better way is to be a key contributor for the team on the biggest stage.
Demarcus Croaker helped lead his Florida Elite team to the Adidas Invitational championship Sunday during the first live period in the month of July.
Croaker claims some big-time offers, but with his play, the attention is really starting to heat up.
"A lot of big colleges have been coming at me like Marquette, VCU, Texas and Indiana," he said.
Another school that firmly sits in the mix with the 2013 guard is South Carolina.
"They are recruiting me hard," he said of the Gamecocks' staff. "I haven't been there, yet, but I've been talking to a couple of the coaches. I'll probably take a trip down there when school starts."
Croaker doesn't know exactly when he wants to commit, yet, but the 6-foot-3 guard from Florida has a plan in mind.
"As far as cutting down my list of schools, I'll probably narrow it down in October and probably commit in early November," he said.
According to Croaker, Florida State, Texas, Miami, Indiana, Murray State and VCU are recruiting him the hardest right now, but all of that could change if he continues his strong play through the live period.
